Writer, director, and cinematographer Luke Cornish takes a deeply emotional path to documentary making.
Luke Directed and wrote Dance Life, a five-part docuseries for Amazon’s Prime Video launched January 2024
His debut feature Keep Stepping was long-listed for Best Documentary at the 95th Academy Awards and won the Jury prize for Best Documentary as well as Audience Award for Best Documentary at the Sydney Film Festival in 2022.
While his debut short documentary Alone Out Here won the audience award at the Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival in 2021 and was featured online by The New Yorker gathering close to half a million views.

A high-level strategic thinker with a creative flair, Philip has worked on several productions, most recently Dance Life, Amazon’s Prime Video docuseries launched January 2024.
Philip previously produced multi-award-winning short documentary Alone Out Here (2020), and feature documentary Keep Stepping (2021) which was long-listed for 95th Academy Awards.
He has considerable experience in project management, fundraising initiatives, and liaison with both government and film industry executives. On the film festival circuit, Philip has secured successful festival submissions and negotiated key distribution and sales agreements with major global film and media companies.
